We are seeking a Sales Director to play a key part in our company's commercial growth. Located in Berlin-Adlershof, we are pioneering the development and production of high-performance cameras and optical inspection solutions.
* Drive Sales Growth: Lead the technical sales of our scientific products, building strong relationships with new and existing customers worldwide.
* Client-Focused Solutions: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and collaborate with our engineering team to provide customized solutions.
* Global Partnership Management: Foster relationships with sales partners globally, helping to shape annual sales targets and achieve growth goals.
* Sales Operations: Prepare and deliver quotes, manage order processing, and work alongside our technical support team to address customer needs.
* Travel & Outreach: Organize and conduct client visits, demos, product presentations, and represent us at trade fairs and conferences.
* New Market Exploration: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging markets for our products.
* CRM & Sales Reporting: Use the CRM system to track leads, manage opportunities, and report on sales progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant Education: Degree in a technical or scientific discipline (e.g., Physics, Engineering, Photonics, Metrology), or equivalent experience in industrial engineering with a strong technical background.
* Sales Experience: Proven track record of selling complex, technically advanced products to international customers.
* Communication Excellence: Fluency in both German and English, with the ability to present and negotiate with clients at all levels.
* Collaborative & Independent: A proactive, team-oriented personality with the drive to work autonomously and take ownership of your projects.
* Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel to engage with clients and attend industry events.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office/LibreOffice; experience with tools like InDesign, GIMP, or Photoshop is a plus.
