Ververica is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our HR and office operations in Germany. The role will play a key part in ensuring smooth HR processes, a positive employee experience, and efficient office administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Administration
* Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of documents and collection/return of company assets.
* Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with German labor law and company policies.
HR Systems & Data Management
* Responsible for the daily operation of the company’s HR systems (HRIS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data.
Recruitment & Interviews
* Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
* Support approval workflows related to recruitment and hiring processes
Office & Administration Support
* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (letters, parcels, etc.).
* Support day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive and welcoming work environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience in HR support, office management, or administration preferred.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
* Familiarity with commonly used HR platforms (e.g., Workmotion, Workable, HiBob, Teamtailor) is highly desirable.
* Fluency in German and English.
