KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a Project Lead Engineer (PLE), you would start a typical day with organization of tasks to support multiple concurrent projects. You will review contracts, evaluate on time delivery of engineering documents, review scope and identify gaps, organize meetings for clarification of technical issues, mentor other Engineers, and provide reporting to your manager and other leaders within the business.How You’ll Make an Impact 
 7. Leading a team of experts for mechanical, fluid, electrical and control systems towards project management.
 8. Acting as primary point of contact for the project management for technical auxiliaries’ scope on a project. You will collaborate with both local and global Siemens Energy Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Installation teams in support of project execution activities. Facilitate information flow between the teams, and our customers as required and agreed.
 9. Representing auxiliaries engineering in customer communication as well as with external licensing authorities.
 10. Leading the contract technical scope and document schedule for auxiliaries from project kickoff through handover to our customer. You will coordinate appropriate flow-down of contract requirements to the Engineering teams at kickoff.
 11. Highlighting risks of execution to Program Management and Engineering. You will manage internal engineering change requests and support external technical scope changes to support Project Management during project execution.
 12. Building the interface between the Installation team during erection and commissioning of Siemens Energy equipment, at Customer sites.
What You Bring
 13. Background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering or a comparable field, with minimum of bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master or Dipl.-Ing. in Engineering,
 14. Long term professional experience in the power plant project execution with nuclear projects, knowledge of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and/or Generator auxiliaries is preferred.
 15. Good knowledge of nuclear codes and standards, documentation for nuclear projects and experience in dealing with nuclear licensing authorities, as well as knowledge of requirements regarding product safety and quality of nuclear power plants
 16. Open to lead technical teams for non-nuclear (combined cycle) plants
 17. Willingness to learn in related cross-discipline areas. Ability to work in cross-functional teams and lead through influence.
 18. Demonstrable experience using MS Office Suite and Siemens Energy tools such as Fabasoft, SAP, Teamcenter, and COMOS/ePlan and proficiency in written and verbal communication in German and English.
