WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We will soon be founding a separate company in our Agricultural Solutions division, which would then also employ our employees on a permanent basis. To bridge the gap, you will be employed by BASF SE on a temporary basis with the simultaneous binding promise of permanent employment in the new company.
Within our unit Product Chemistry, you join a highly dedicated, international and passionate team. Your colleagues will ensure smooth onboarding giving you all the right tools for your new position.
* In your new position, you lead a laboratory team in the analysis of active substances and formulated products.
* You solve complex analytical tasks of crop protection products in close cooperation with R&D, operations and regulatory.
* Furthermore, you are a member of international project teams.
* In addition to independently managing internal and external resources, you work in a scientific team with a strong business focus.
* Last but not least, you have the opportunity to develop yourself and the group by implementing new ideas, concepts and approaches.
WHAT YOU OFFER
* PhD in (bio)chemistry or a related subject
* profound knowledge of chromatography (LC, GC, others) and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HR-MS) of organic molecules
* digitally savvy, customer-oriented and pragmatic team player
* excellent communication skills in English, German language skills are a plus
