Intern - CPO Office & People and Culture Strategy (m/f/d)

About the Job 

In the Office of Chief People, Culture & Sustainability (CPO) at Allianz Technology, we drive the People & Culture agenda that shapes how the strategic technology enabler for Allianz Group attracts, develops, and retains talent at scale. As an intern, you will work directly with the Head of CPO Office and Executive Assistant – engaging with real strategic priorities.

This role sits at the intersection of executive governance, talent strategy, and cross-functional stakeholder management. You will act as a strategic right hand across selected topics, supporting preparation, analysis, coordination, follow up, and communication for the CPO Leadership Team and key partners across Allianz Technology.  

What you do

* Support delivery of the People, Culture & Sustainability Strategy and Priorities 2026 through structured analysis, documentation, and progress tracking.
* Prepare background materials and data visualizations for leadership workshops, strategy offsites, and senior management discussions.
* Analyze and prepare concise, executive-ready summaries that enable informed decision-making at the leadership level.
* Support preparation of Executive Management Team, Executive Committee, and CPO Leadership Team meetings – including agendas, pre-reads, decision logs, and action tracking.
* Manage structured follow-ups and consolidate input from senior stakeholders across the organization. Contribute to continuous improvement of ways of working, documentation standards and tool usage within the CPO Office.
* Serve as an interface between the CPO Office, external partners, consultant, cross-functional project teams and stakeholders across Allianz Group.
* Support preparation of townhalls, leadership communications, internal announcements and assist with drafting, reviewing, and structuring presentations, briefing notes and FAQs.

What you bring

* Currently enrolled as a university student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Economy, Human Resources, Strategy, or a related field
* Strong analytical and structuring skills; proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* High degree of reliability, discretion, and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
* Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizations
* Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use
* You can start immediately and are interested in a full-time internship (38 h/week) for a period of ideally 6 to 9 months.

* Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year.
