Junior Officer Job Description
As a Junior Officer, you will be responsible for the accounting of PERE funds which hold a diverse portfolio of investments. This includes keeping books and records, as well as timely and accurate recording of transactions.
You will also be responsible for calculating the net asset value of funds on a quarterly/semi-annual and annual basis. This involves preparing reporting packs under LUXGAAP (some under IFRS or USGAAP).
* Accounting and record-keeping for complex structures and filing records.
* Reporting to and communicating with investment managers and other relevant parties.
Additionally, you will take ownership for all elements of a fund's reporting cycle from review and interpretation of fund governing documentation through to day-to-day accounting tasks, production of quarterly/semi-annual reporting, and net asset values, and annual financial statements.
Other responsibilities include calculation of tax/VAT reporting and ensuring adequate and timely responses to clients' requests.
