EMEA Tax Manager, Strategic Tax & Controversy
We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Tax Manager to join our to support our EDS EMEA Tax Lead.

Your Role:
1. Develop effective planning opportunities and controversy resolution strategies.
2. Research complex (international) tax and transfer-pricing issues.
3. Draft internal memos, analysis, and financial models.
4. Translating data from a range of sources into insights and deliverables.
5. Building effective long-term relationships with our business teams and external advisors.
6. Communicating complex tax issues to our business teams, tax auditors, and courts.
7. Interest in the technology automotive industry is a plus.
Your Background:
8. Minimum of 5 years of work experience, ideally 5-7 years’ experience in a professional advisory tax organization (Big 4 or law firm is a plus). Specifically experience in one or more of the following areas:
Tax Controversy matters, and / or
International Tax,
Transfer Pricing,
Tax Accounting,
Operating Model Efficiency, Value Chain Transformation, or similar global supply chain structuring teams a plus.
9. A tax advisor or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential
10. Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting standards a plus.
11. A degree in law, finance, business administration, economics, accounting or similar is preferred.
12. Ability and interest in global travel and operating in a fast paced environment.
13. Candidates must be authorized to work in Germany.
14. Demonstrated written and oral communication or presentation skill highly valued.
15. Familiarity and ability to use excel, ppt, and word required; SAP awareness positive.
