About the project:
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our Client's team, providing essential Level 1 and Level 2 support to users across Client's German sites. You will be a key player in ensuring smooth IT operations, from setting up new computers and onboarding users to troubleshooting network issues and collaborating with international teams. This role offers a mix of onsite work with some remote flexibility, and significant opportunities for growth into Level 3 support topics.
Your responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive Level 1 support, assisting end-users with Office applications, particularly Office 365.
* Perform initial setup and deployment of new computers using internal tools, with training provided.
* Introduce and onboard users to company IT tools.
* Provide support and troubleshooting for printers.
* Offer Level 2 support for network-related topics, including firewalls, switches, and connectivity.
* Act as an escalation point for more complex technical issues.
* Collaborate effectively with the French Level 3 team, with training opportunities available to eventually handle some Level 3 topics independently.
Our requirements:
* Proven experience in both Level 1 and Level 2 IT support.
* Fluency in German and English is essential (French is a plus).
* Comfortable working autonomously.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to other DACH-region sites for support.
* Ability to commute to industrial/production sites where a car is required due to limited public transport access.
Skills:
* Proficiency in supporting Office applications, especially Office 365.
* Experience with initial computer setup and deployment (Autopilot knowledge highly valued).
* Strong understanding of network-related topics, including firewalls, switches, and connectivity.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD administration).
* Experience using ServiceNow for ticketing and incident management.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software, and network issues.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork and user onboarding.
