As a member of the product architect team, you are responsible for the software architecture of product SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal) and participate in the extension and optimization of that architecture. You involve in requirement elicitation and analysis and create high level solution concepts for new features especially taking care that solutions comply to the existing product architecture and evolve that architecture in a sustainable way. You work in an agile environment and collaborate with product owners on the requirements side, synchronize with peer product architects, and guide scrum teams which realize features based on your concepts.What we offer you

9. Participating in requirement elicitation and analysis.
10. Identifying and defining internal requirements and quality attribute scenarios.
11. Deriving sustainable, cost-effective software solutions in the context of product WinCC ES.
12. Creating high level technical concepts as a precondition for realizing features.
13. Defining guard rails for Scrum teams realizing features and ensuring the correct realization.
14. Communicating solution concepts in an agile context.
15. Scouting, analyzing and -where appropriate- introducing new innovative technologies for customer features or to optimize the development process.

17. University degree or an equivalent qualification
18. Experience & Skills
19. 5+ years of experience as software architect in big software projects
20. you have a completed training as SWA (Siemens Software Architect) or posses an equivalent qualification
21. deep theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience in systematic software engineering and software architecture
22. practical experience in agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban, …)
23. coding experience in up-to-date programming languages (C++, C#, Python, JavaScript), technologies and platforms
24. interested in technical innovation and continued professional development
25. HMI domain knowledge as well as TIA Portal knowledge is a plus
