Task and responsibilities
Build, Lead and develop the IT Security team at headquarters and around the world.
Design and implement a global IT security strategy which aligns with our decentralized organizational setup.
Act as a trusted advisor to local IT teams across our international operations to make sure the security standards defined are accounted for in the local markets.
Oversee security operations for the Solingen location, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Identify and fix security vulnerabilities
Coordinate with country organizations to assess and improve their state of security.
Manage and optimize security tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, SOC, endpoint protection, firewalls).
Guard our local networks as well as the connections to our market organizations
Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across all entities.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2).
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments in collaboration with local teams.
Provide security input for infrastructure and application design, including cloud and hybrid environments.
Lead security aspects of digital initiatives and cross-country IT projects.
Evaluate and implement new security technologies tailored to both manufacturing as well as retail environments.
Promote a culture of security awareness across all levels of the organization.
Design and deliver training programs for employees and IT staff in headquarters and local entities.
Align with our parental organization on group wide awareness programs
Your Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of application and network security
Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture, risk management, and compliance.
Experience in both manufacturing and retail IT environments is a strong advantage.
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
