The HMO Product Management team acts as a central interface between different departments. In close cooperation with commercial and business teams, the role manages customer enquiries on topics such as product quality, production processes, customer applications, and specifications. The role & your impact: Business Support Specialist provides operational, administrative and cross-functional support to ensure smooth day-to-day business activities. Provide administrative and operational support to the HMO Product Management team and internal stakeholders Strengthen the ability to support and accelerate customers’ product qualification requirements Prepare, update and maintain statements, customer questionnaire, reports, documentation and presentations Support internal communication between departments such as sales, customer service, operations and quality to provide seamless support and improve processes Handle data entry, data validation and system updates with a high level of accuracy Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner Your key responsibilities in this role: Coordinate daily business processes and help ensure timely completion of tasks Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and documenting follow-up actions Gather feedback from customers to identify areas for product improvement and share insights with the sales and product development teams What you'll need to be successful in this role: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food technology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of food technology, biotechnology products, and relevant applications Previous experience in business support, operations, administration, or office coordination Experience working with cross-functional teams is an advantage Ability to prioritize tasks and high attention to detail and problem-solving ability English language is mandatory; German is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to a non-technical audience Additional interests and skills we value: Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently You are confident in responding to customer inquiries, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting the Sales organization in day-to-day business Your profile is complemented by strong system skills, attention to detail, and a professional, service-oriented communication style What do we offer you?
