Your impact at MUFG
Join our dynamic team in Japanese Corporate Banking Division for EMEA. In MBE, we have Corporate Banking Departments for JCBD in Amsterdam, Brussels, Germany (Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich), Madrid and Vienna. You as Working Student would become part of Dusseldorf office of JCBD Germany, which consists of 6 teams: Business Management/Planning, Business Promotion/Relationship Managers, Administration, Cash Management Services (CMS), Know Your Customer (KYC) and Credit Analyst.
This role will give you the opportunity to gain real work experience in a corporate setting/financial institution while developing knowledge of corporate banking/Japanese corporates in the Germany for your professional development.
The role includes the following:
* Executing administrative tasks, help reporting and supporting any of the teams in JCBD with daily business (e.g. Support Credit Analyst to perform regular credit analysis or KYC team in preparing the review of KYC file).
* Working alongside other JCBD members in order to meet the target and other team requirements, by harmonizing with the whole team in JCBD.
* Coordinating with relevant other Divisions (e.g. Operations, Customer Supporting Office) to respond to business/client needs and join internal meetings.
* Ensuring compliance with the Bank's rules, policies, procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:
Skills and experience:
* Be a full time student with affinity for or interest in banking/financial services
* Enthusiastic to gain experience of working at a Japanese corporate, understand Japanese corporate clients' business and develop knowledge of finance and commercial banking
* Willingness to understand MUFG strategies, regulations and manuals
* Excellent attention to detail, proactive, hands-on
* A structured and logical mindset
* Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
* Analytical skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data organization, and reporting
* Fluency in English, both in verbal and in writing. Japanese language is a plus.
