I am currently representing a well-established Packaging Machinery OEM specialising in end-of-line automation systems for the Food & Beverage industry. Established in 1979, with over 500 employees, they work alongside globally recognised brands within liquid packaging and are now looking to expand into new and untapped markets across France, North Africa, and beyond.
In this role, you will take ownership of regional growth, actively approaching new customers and developing business opportunities. You will act as a key interface between customers and engineering teams, identifying projects before handing them over to the German headquarters for delivery.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical sales experience, ideally within packaging or machinery, along with the ability to analyse market data and drive new business. Full product and market training will be provided through onboarding in Germany, but this is a highly independent, "hunter" style role.
You will be joining a growing, stable company with strong industry partnerships and the opportunity to play a key role in their international expansion strategy.
The Role:
Active new business development across France, North Africa, and surrounding regions
Identifying and developing new markets within packaging automation
Acting as the interface between customers and engineering/service teams
Supporting customers through early project stages before handover
Working closely with field engineers to expand existing accounts
The Candidate:
Fluent in French + German OR English
Experience selling technical or complex machinery
Background in packaging, automation, or food & beverage industries
Strong commercial mindset with ability to analyse market potential
Self-driven and comfortable in an independent sales role
