As a Floor Monitor (VFM), you will collaborate with a talented team and dive into challenging technical problems to meet tight deadlines associated with on-site deployment of autonomous robotic systems. This position requires a unique combination of flexibility, ownership, oversight, creativity, innovation, leadership, bias for action, as well as effective communication skills.
You will be expected to arrive onsite at your assigned Fulfillment Center daily for the duration of your contract. The amount of travel involved will depend on an individual’s site assignment and home location.
*There is a strict policy to limit excess travel, so it is important to be flexible around an assignment (this means remaining local if more cost effective). Travel expenses are fully reimbursed with timely submission of these expenses is required following any week of travel.
Overview:
1. The TEKsystems VFM supports temporary manual data collection and acts as Amnesty Floor Monitor during Beta phases.
2. This VFM is the first responder to Vulcan workcell interventions and ensures smooth operation by clearing basic faults and managing exception totes.
3. VFM assignments/projects can differ in scope, size, and length, so flexibility is key
Key Responsibilities for VFM:
4. VFMs will follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs), each specifying critical product launch requirements and required onsite testing that needs to be completed to support successful product launch activities over to operations teams within fulfillment centers.
5. Participate in mandatory training(s) as provided through existing TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) team members and/or customer.
6. Support and reverse shadow AFMs (Amnesty Floor Monitors).
7. Clear basic faults and interventions on Vulcan systems (, KO tote removal, jam clearance, manage amnesty).
8. Act as first responder to workcell interventions and manage amnesty and exception totes.
9. Observe Vulcan system for manual data collection and report anomalies.

Basic qualifications:
11. Experience in operations or warehouse environments.

24. Preferred qualifications:
25. Prior success in high-pressure, fast-paced environments demonstrating innovative problem-solving skills a plus
26. Previous Experience with manual data collection in engineering/manufacturing (or similar) environments
27. Experience working in technical environments is a plus (working in manufacturing, construction, automotive and/or relatable engineering environment is preferred)

Physical Requirements:
29. Applicants must have the ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours a day, climb stairs and lift items and tools weighing between 5-50 lbs.
