Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The Sales Director oversees the development of a sales strategy aimed at boosting profit margins within the Business Unit Specialties. This involves cultivating strategic customer relationships, leading an international team of Sales Directors, and ensuring seamless communication between Sales Offices and organizational units.
Main Responsibilities Include:
* Leading a global team of Sales Directors to drive sales growth in BU Sales Specialties.
* Developing high-performing teams and creating a positive work environment.
* Planning budgets based on existing and future requirements.
* Ensuring efficient information flow and coordination between Sales Offices and organizational units.
* Preparing market analyses, statistical evaluations, and adapting sales strategies accordingly.
* Enhancing operational efficiency and supporting processes and systems, particularly CRM.
* Defining sales targets, setting objectives in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5YP, and monitoring their effective management.
* Fostering strategic customer acquisition and key account management.
Requirements for Success:
* Degree in economics with a focus on sales, finance, or related fields.
* At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including 7 years of management experience and potential international exposure.
* Able to develop comprehensive sales and business development strategies without issues.
* Experience working in international matrix organizations.
* Proven track record in initiating and successfully managing complex change projects.
* Strong analytical, strategic, and process-oriented thinking skills, complemented by a structured approach.
* Business fluent English communication skills.
