About the Role
We are partnering with a global medical technology organization that is rapidly scaling its robotic and automated dispensing solutions used in pharmacies and hospital environments.
This is a business-facing, strategic Procurement Manager role supporting a high-growth automation platform involving large-scale electro-mechanical systems, robotics, and complex supplier networks.
You will play a key role in shaping the supply base, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and working closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to support innovation and growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead strategic procurement and supplier initiatives with measurable business impact
* Own supplier relationship and contract management, including multi-year value plans
* Support new product development (NPD) by deploying preferred suppliers
* Act as escalation point for critical supplier issues (cost, quality, delivery)
* Drive cost savings, cash optimization, and supply chain risk mitigation
* Lead or contribute to cross-functional and international projects, including:
* Supplier selection & negotiations
* Market and cost analysis
* Risk mitigation and contract execution
* Stakeholder communication and reporting
What We’re Looking For
* 7–10 years’ experience in Procurement & Supplier Management
* At least 3 years’ experience in (international) Project Management
* Experience working with complex, technical products (automation, machinery, electro-mechanical systems preferred)
* Native-level German and fluent English (both required)
* Strong negotiation skills and understanding of supplier cost structures
* Confident communicator who can operate cross-functionally
* Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
* Willingness to travel occasionally
