As Engineering Manager for People & Processes in our Retail Platform domain, you’ll take the lead on building an environment where our product teams can thrive. Your mission: to empower engineers, ensure operational excellence, and shape processes that help us scale reliably and sustainably.
Your Tasks
1. Guide and support softwareengineersacross multiple backend teams, fosteringengagement, professional growth, and effectivecollaboration
2. Drive capacityplanning and hiring in closecollaborationwith Recruiting and otherstakeholders
3. Improve and evolvedevelopmentprocessesthatbalancespeed, quality, and teamhealth
4. EnableseamlesscollaborationbetweenProduct Managers and Engineers
5. Facilitatealignmentwithotherbusinessunits and foster a cultureofcross-team support
6. Promote psychologicalsafety, inclusivity, and open feedbackwithintheteam
7. Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs), ensuringreliability, performance, and secureoperations
What you bring
8. Prior experience as a Software Engineer and deep understanding of modern engineering practices
9. Several years of experience managing engineering teams – ideally distributed and cross-functional
10. A passion for helping people grow, with a coaching-first leadership approach
11. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
12. A process-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and remove bottlenecks
13. Familiarity with agile principles and how to apply them pragmatically
14. A hands-on attitude combined with a drive to continuously improve teams and systems
