ABOUT THE ROLE: Join our dynamic People Operations team as a key HR point of contact for our Germany-based employees. This Berlin-based role offers the opportunity to drive impactful HR processes, support global operations, and enhance the employee experience from onboarding through ongoing engagement. ABOUT THE ROLE: Our People Operations team is globally focused and currently based in two locations. In this role, you’ll report to the People Operations Lead and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate, efficient, and people-centered HR support across the organization. ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL: Act as the primary contact for the People Operations team, with a primary focus on employees located in Germany Support the broader People Operations team as a backup for other locations, helping ensure continuity of service across regions when needed Drive our pre-onboarding and onboarding process - make sure our new team members feel integrated and welcome from day one Draft employment contracts, amendments, certificates, confirmation letters and other required documents Assist employees with relocation and immigration processes in collaboration with our external partners Support employees with inquiries regarding time-off management and entitlement, e.g. sick leave, maternity & parental leave in line with local regulations and company policies Assist employees with questions regarding their benefits enrollment Prepare payroll data input and liaise with our external vendor, ensuring compliance and accuracy Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records to ensure compliance Use our HRIS effectively to extract data and create reports Use the ticketing system as a primary tool for managing, tracking, and reporting employee requests; collaborate via Slack as needed Engage, develop and educate employees and people managers around HR policies and programs Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE: 3 years of experience in HR Operations, ideally in a fast-growing environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of operational best practices and compliance regulations A self-starter attitude – proactive, eager to learn and grow, collaborative, and approachable Fluent in English Proficiency in German (C1 level) is highly desirable Proficient in HRIS and ticketing systems, with the ability to leverage technology to support HR operations and employee services Skilled with spreadsheets for creating reports and organizing HR data WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: €1,000 annual learning budget, full LinkedIn Learning access, and free German language courses to boost your skills 30 days of annual leave, plus extra paid days for your birthday and moving day Home office setup budget, a monthly home office allowance Freedom to work from abroad for up to 90 days worldwide!
