US‑qualified lawyer
to help build and expand its growing
US practice. The firm is well established in the venture capital, startup, and technology ecosystem and is now strengthening its ability to support clients with
cross‑border US legal needs .

Build It Together, Not Alone You will be working alongside an experienced
US‑qualified partner already based in Berlin, providing immediate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and support. You’re not being dropped into a vacuum — you’re joining to accelerate what already exists.
Founder‑ and Investor‑Focused Work Advise early‑stage companies, tech founders, and venture funds on US matters including corporate structuring, Delaware entities, fundraising documentation, cap tables, governance, and cross‑border transactions.
Autonomy Without Isolation This boutique environment offers real flexibility, minimal hierarchy, and space for entrepreneurial thinking—without the bureaucracy or rigidity of large firms.
Your Responsibilities Develop and grow the firm’s US legal offering together with the existing US‑qualified partner. Advise on US corporate, venture, and startup matters, often in cross‑border contexts. Guide founders through early‑stage and growth‑stage fundraising under US structures. Support European companies expanding into the US. Build relationships across Berlin’s startup, VC, and tech ecosystems.
Ideal Candidate Profile US‑qualified lawyer, admitted to at least one US state bar. Experience in venture capital, emerging companies, M&A, PE, or startup law. Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in business development. Any personal connection to Germany or prior experience with cross‑border work is a plus, but not required. Experience working with US founders desired.
