Position: Key Account Manager (KAM)
Reports to: CV Sales Director
Location: Bad Camberg (near Frankfurt) or Glinde (east of Hamburg), Germany
Role Purpose
The Key Account Manager CV will be responsible for managing and developing the CV business. Reporting directly to the CV Sales Director, the KAM will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, driving profitable growth, and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and internal functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the primary customer contact, managing all commercial and strategic activities.
2. Lead customer negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and business agreements, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
3. Coordinate with Customers to align project execution, customer support, and timelines.
4. Develop and implement account strategies to expand business opportunities and reinforce long-term partnerships.
5. Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer trends to identify risks and opportunities.
6. Ensure smooth coordination with internal functions (engineering, operations, program management, quality, finance) to meet customer requirements.
7. Prepare and deliver regular account reviews, forecasts, and performance reports to the Sales Director Europe.
8. Promote initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen Tenneco’s positioning as a strategic partner.
Qualifications & Requirements
9. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
10. At least 5–7 years of experience in Key Account Management, ideally in the automotive sector.
11. Solid knowledge of OEM automotive customer structures and processes.
12. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
13. Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
14. Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
15. Based in Bad Camberg (Frankfurt) or Glinde (Hamburg) with willingness to travel across Europe.
