About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support overall controlling tasks.
This person will report to the Head of Financial Controlling and Accounting and work under the coordination of senior team members.
The Financial Controller will collaborate with other departments to support cost management, monitoring, forecasting, and budgeting matters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Verify and validate accounting entries and handle controlling activities;
2. Financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities;
3. Evaluate finance department systems, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effective operation and adherence to financial rules and regulations;
4. Support cost management and monitoring, forecasting, and budgeting matters with other departments;
5. Assess risks to objectives and related control activities at their respective levels of the company, expected information and communication flow, and monitoring activities relevant to their achievement of objectives;
6. Prepare and deliver timely financial reports, annual accounts, treasury reports, and forecasts;
7. Budgeting and fee structure processes;
8. Closing procedures with the Accounting department;
9. Verify and authenticate bookkeeping entries from a Financial Controlling perspective;
10. Advise on VAT, tax, and regulatory financial matters;
11. Balance Sheet reconciliation and recommendations where needed;
12. Intracompany reconciliation processes with TSOs;
13. Draft Financial Controlling policies and procedures;
14. Review and assess data from time tracking tools and make recommendations;
15. Provide support for ongoing projects and suggest system improvements;
16. Coordinate and support external audit requests.
We Are Looking For Someone With The Following Skills:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
* Fluent English language skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities;
* Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling, accounting, or audit;
* Knowledge and experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting;
* Knowledge and experience in financial statements under LuxGaap;
* SAP-FI/CO experience is an asset;
* Good knowledge of ERP systems or any equivalent technology;
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to listen, empathize, and communicate effectively;
* Able to structure work logically and efficiently;
* Able to deliver high-quality work with attention to detail;
* Able to execute tasks under tight deadlines.

* Salary paid over 13 months;
