We are seeking a dynamic and engaging AI Advocate to join our R&D team. This is a unique role that sits at the intersection of technology, education, and community. Your mission is to be a force multiplier for our entire R&D organization by driving the adoption, mastery, and effective use of our internal and external AI-powered tools.
You are the bridge between the AI tools we build and the engineers and product managers who use them. You are part educator, part evangelist, and part user champion. Your success isn't measured in lines of code, but in the "aha!" moments you create for your colleagues, the communities you foster, and the tangible impact AI has on our product velocity and quality.
Job Requirements
* A Born Educator and Storyteller: You have a genuine passion for teaching and a gift for explaining complex technical topics in a clear, concise, and engaging way. Whether writing a tutorial or leading a workshop, you know how to connect with your audience.
* Technically Credible: You have a background in software engineering. You’ve been in the trenches, you understand the developer workflow, and you can speak the language of our engineers with authenticity and authority.
* An Empathetic Community Builder: You are a natural connector who enjoys building relationships. You are patient, approachable, and skilled at fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
* Passionate about AI and Developer Productivity: You are genuinely excited by the potential of AI to change how software is built. You are a constant learner, always exploring new tools and techniques, and you are driven to help others work smarter.
* A Proactive and Strategic Partner: You are not just a support function; you are a strategic partner to the AI product team. You think strategically about how to drive adoption, measure your impact, and align your efforts with broader R&D goals.
Bonus Points
* Experience in a formal Developer Advocate, Developer Relations (DevRel), or Technical Training role.
* Experience creating technical content (blog posts, videos, documentation).
* Experience organizing community events like meetups or hackathons.

Job Responsibilities
* Educate and Empower: Design and deliver engaging training materials, including live coding sessions, deep-dive workshops, and comprehensive documentation. You will be the go-to expert who makes complex AI concepts accessible to everyone.
* Evangelize and Inspire: Showcase the art of the possible. Create compelling demos, share success stories, and run internal marketing campaigns (via Slack, newsletters, and all-hands meetings) to build excitement and highlight the value of our AI tools.
* Build a Thriving AI Community: Foster a vibrant internal community of practice. Host office hours, organize AI-focused hackathons, and create forums for engineers and PMs to share best practices, ask questions, and learn from each other.
* Onboard and Support: Be the first point of contact for R&D team members using our AI tools. You will ensure new hires are onboarded effectively and that all users feel supported and confident.
* Create the Feedback Loop: Act as the primary voice of the user for the AI Platforms team. You will systematically gather, synthesize, and deliver user feedback, pain points, and new ideas to the AI Product Manager to influence the product roadmap.
