Job Description
Role Summary:
VERAXA is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager/Director/SD with experience in drug development and expertise in antibody therapeutics. You will lead our Business Development and Licensing efforts, driving deals and strategic partnerships. As Senior Business Development Manager, you will implement our business development strategy, manage communications with potential partners, conferences, timelines, evaluations, and commercial analyses for co-development deals, joint ventures, licensing, and acquisitions.
Core Responsibilities:
* Identify new opportunities aligned with VERAXA’s pipeline strategy.
* Coordinate business development conferences and communication with prospective partners.
* Identify licensing opportunities for discovery and development partnerships.
* Manage risks and opportunities in partnerships and alliances.
* Evaluate the competitive landscape and support strategic decisions with data and research.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* MSc or PhD in a relevant field, experience in antibody discovery & engineering; MBA is a bonus.
* Research experience preferred to lead scientific discussions.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
* Experience in business development and licensing activities.
* Experience in entrepreneurial settings.
* Approachable, confident in engaging with colleagues and partners.
* Partial remote work and travel to conferences and partners included.
