As an employee in the Central Operations department, you will support our end-user workstations, administer servers, and further develop applications and their interfaces. The department also includes process support and the service desk.
YOUR NEW TASKS
* You will configure and administer Windows servers and support our internal specialist procedures and statistics software.
* You will test, pilot, and install client software and advise customers on IT issues.
* You will process complex user requests and work with our state IT service provider BITBW and the Statistical Association.
* You will develop and maintain terminal server solutions for the company.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
* You have an accredited bachelor's degree or technical college degree in computer science, mathematics, or physics.
* You have extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and software management and, ideally, practical experience with statistical processes.
* You have experience in the areas of administration and virtualization of Windows servers and IT security.
