Angove Partners are working with an insurance brokerage based in Frankfurt, who are looking to bring on a Tax Underwriter. They are one of the largest global MGAs and work across 22 different countries.
About this role:
You’ll assess and underwrite tax risks arising in M&A and corporate transactions, working closely with brokers, clients, and advisors to deliver tailored insurance solutions.
What will you be doing:
* Evaluate info about the client, using data to analyse the risk of the potential client, decide whether insurance should be offered based on that analysis.
* Calculate the cost of providing the policy and establish a price for the premium.
* Structure and price tax liability insurance policies
* Draft and negotiate policy terms and coverage
* Collaborate with brokers, tax lawyers, and clients on live deals
* Support the deal process under tight timelines
About you:
* Background in tax (law firm, Big 4, or in-house)
* Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
