Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from bid to contract award.
* Assess project requirements and specifications to understand the scope of work and deliverables.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project.
* Evaluate project costs by analyzing materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.
* Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather quotations and evaluate their capabilities for inclusion in the bid.
* Ensure proposal compliance from a technical, legal, and commercial perspective by working closely with legal, technical, and product organizations.
* Develop detailed proposals and bid documents that meet client needs and align with company standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Education: Completed bachelor's or master's degree in Technical Business Administration, Engineering, or similar field.
* Commercial and technical insight combined with a strong drive to win.
* Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and industry standards.
* Proficiency in cost estimation techniques, project management concepts, and technical writing.
* Analytical skills: Ability to analyze project requirements, evaluate costs, and identify potential risks or challenges.
* Project management experience: Ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously while ensuring swift turnaround.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively convey technical information, proposals, and presentations.
* Strong team player who can interact with multiple clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
