We are looking to expand our development team which is responsible for designing and implementing algorithms for ADAS and Autonomous Driving systems. The team focuses on modelling the relevant road surrounding of the vehicle which is a critical software component within Aptiv’s autonomous driving stack.
Your role:
1. Design and implement autonomous driving algorithms with focus on the road environment of the vehicle
2. Algorithm and software design using C/C++
3. Optimize algorithm performance through testing and tuning
4. Unit tests development
5. Cooperate with global teams to ensure robustness across the whole software platform
6. Work in a cross functional team environment
Your background:
7. MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Control, Automation and Robotics or similar
8. Extensive programming background in C++
9. 3+ years of development and testing of algorithms and coding experience (can include industry, academic or internship)
10. Experience with version control and issue tracking on large collaborative projects (Git, Jira, Jenkins or similar)
11. Understanding of statistical methods for signal processing, time filtering and tracking algorithms
12. Fluency in English (spoken and written competencies)
13. ADAS/Autonomous Driving domain knowledge
14. Understanding of planar geometry and 3D geometry
15. Experience with large-scale projects
16. Proficiency in Python and Matlab
17. Passion for solving complex technical challenges
