Requirements
▪ Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
▪ 10+ years of experience in system engineering within the European space/aerospace industry
▪ Solid experience across the full system lifecycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, verification & validation)
▪ Strong expertise in space antenna systems or large deployable structures
▪ Experience in integration, testing, and verification of complex systems and subsystems
▪ Proven track record of working in or leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams
▪ Experience with requirements management and tools (e.g. DOORS, RVTM)
▪ Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes
▪ Strong communication skills, hands-on mindset, and ability to manage changing priorities
Tasks & Responsibilities
▪ Provide end-to-end technical support for space antennas and large deployable antenna reflectors across commercial and institutional (space agency) projects
▪ Actively contribute to and manage system engineering activities throughout all project phases (from concept to delivery)
▪ Support design, analysis, and MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration & Test) teams with system-level expertise, including in-orbit systems
▪ Lead or contribute to requirements management and configuration management processes
▪ Prepare and deliver high-quality system engineering documentation
▪ Participate in internal and external project reviews as well as proposal evaluations
▪ Drive system-level activities addressing both short-term and long-term needs in deployable antenna systems
▪ Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams (e.g. structural, thermal, RF, electrical, testing, purchasing)
▪ Support additional technical activities within your domain of expertise as required
▪ Report directly to the System Engineering Lead and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes
