Job Description
Imagine leading the charge for one of the fastest-growing segments in a global tech powerhouse—overseeing a network of 800+ Dmarts across 48 countries, all while redefining how millions of people access groceries and everyday essentials. As the Head of our Global Dmarts Central Team, you’ll be at the heart of this transformation. You will shape and drive the global vision and strategy for our Dmarts business, setting the course for where we go next and how we get there. This is a role for bold strategists, hands-on builders, and empowering leaders ready to make an impact at scale!
You’ll lead a cross-functional powerhouse:
* Product managers who design the technology behind our store operations,
* Business leaders managing global centers of excellence for commercial and operational excellence,
* Analytics and design experts who translate insight and creativity into scalable performance.
Together, your team will act as the engine room of Delivery Hero’s Quick Commerce operations—driving performance, innovation, and consistency across continents.

Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Direction & Execution: Define the global business and product strategy for Delivery Hero’s Dmarts (grocery retail) business line in order to continue its profitable growth trajectory.
* Team Leadership & Empowerment: Lead and empower teams within the central Dmarts organisation to achieve strategic business outcomes.
* Product roadmap and delivery: Lead a team of talented product leaders and managers to shape the roadmap for our global tool stack to run the dMarts business. This includes our internal supply chain tooling, store management tools as well as commercial tools to help shape our Dmart value proposition.
* Organizational Transformation: Act as a key shaper of the transition to the newly created Dmart Product Line organisation which combines both business and product leadership with end-to-end responsibility to drive outcomes for the Dmarts business
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other Quick Commerce and broader Delivery Hero Service Lines on shared objectives.
* Talent Management: Develop and grow the team consisting of product, business, design and analytics specialists working on a joint mission
Qualifications
* 12+ years professional working experience in a similar industry with a minimum of 5+ years people management experience.
* Leadership & Organizational Acumen: Demonstrated experience in leading and shaping organizational transitions, particularly in complex, multi-business line environments.
* Deep Domain Expertise in Retail / Groceries: Extensive experience and deep understanding of (online) grocery retailers - including supply chain management, fulfillment, inventory management
* Experience in building impactful products: A strong track record of managing product teams who deliver impactful products at scale.
* Strategic Thinking & Value Generation: A strong ability to identify key opportunities, translate them into actionable strategies that improve business outcomes.
* Collaborative & Influential: Proven track record of fostering strong collaboration between product, business, and operational teams. Ability to manage dependencies and influence stakeholders across a complex organization.
* Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to dive deep into the numbers and figure out what’s right for the business.
* Results-Oriented: A drive to achieve business objectives with a strong P&L ownership mindset
