Responsibilities
* Develop software components for mobile robots operating in dynamic warehouse and industrial environments.
* Integrate robotics modules, create new applications, and improve existing capabilities across different robots’ autonomy stacks.
* Test and evaluate developments in an in‑house test warehouse and at selected customer sites, collaborating closely with a robotics team.
* Contribute to robot navigation, perception pipelines, object detection, or machine‑learning‑driven behaviors, depending on your background.
Requirements
* Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience developing software for robotic systems.
* Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
* Solid understanding of robotics fundamentals, ideally in perception, navigation, or manipulation.
* Structured, independent, and solution‑oriented working style.
* Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
* Experience integrating solutions on a robot with a safety system.
* Preferable: experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and contributing to shipped robotic products.
* Job is mostly on‑site; ideally you live in or close to Munich.
