* Given the ongoing growth of SMBC Bank EU, it is vital to maintain continuous communication on Compliance matters, particularly with the Front Office (First Line of Defence) and Compliance staff across EMEA. To enhance and tailor this communication, the job holder will work closely with existing EMEA functions and act as a key contact for Compliance-related communication and reporting within SMBC EU and towards Group staff.

In addition, the Bank must operate dedicated Committees and communicate Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime topics to a broader audience.
* Furthermore, clear and timely internal communication on regulatory changes, organisational developments, and operational updates is essential to ensure that staff within Compliance and across EMEA are well-informed.
* As SMBC EU and SMBC EMEA experience significant growth and transformation, the Business Management team plays a key role in steering change initiatives, managing projects, and ensuring appropriate departmental organisation.
