This role ensures the efficient functioning, safety, and maintenance of the hotel property, systems, and infrastructure in accordance with Hotel Group brand standards, sustainability commitments, and German legal and regulatory requirements.Candidates must be open to relocation to Germany.Key Responsibilities:1. Property Maintenance & Technical ServicesOversee the maintenance of all hotel facilities including guest rooms, public areas, BOH, and exterior spaces.Ensure optimal functioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, fire life safety, elevators, BMS, and water treatment systems.Supervise all engineering service contracts and outsourced technical providers.2. Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP)Develop and implement a robust preventive maintenance schedule.Monitor and audit PMP completion for all assets to reduce downtime and extend lifecycle.Coordinate equipment calibration and routine technical inspections (TUV).3. Budgeting & Capital ProjectsPrepare and manage the annual departmental operating and capital expenditure budgets.Oversee the planning and execution of CapEx projects, ensuring alignment with hotel objectives and timelines.Identify cost-saving opportunities and energy efficiency investments.4. Health, Safety & ComplianceEnsure full compliance with German health, fire safety, building, and labor regulations (e.g., ArbSchG, BetrSichV).Maintain all necessary certifications, risk assessments, and regulatory documentation.Lead fire drills and emergency preparedness programs.5. Energy & Sustainability ManagementMonitor utility consumption and implement conservation initiatives.Lead sustainability projects in alignment with environmental goals (e.g., emissions reduction, LEED initiatives).Lead, train, and develop the engineering team, fostering a proactive and solution-oriented work culture.Schedule and supervise technicians and third-party service providers.Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development sessions.7. Guest Experience & SupportEnsure timely response and resolution of guest maintenance requests and complaints.Work closely with Rooms Division to minimize disruption during maintenance activities.Maintain all areas in a pristine condition, consistent with luxury standards.8.
