The Process Engineering Manager leads and develops the Process Engineering team to design, optimize, and continuously improve manufacturing, assembly, and logistics processes. The role ensures operational excellence through Lean methods, technological innovation, and cross‑functional collaboration, contributing directly to safety, quality, cost efficiency, and delivery performance.
Develop capable and high performing teams
Build, lead, and continuously develop the Process Engineering team to ensure the required competencies, engagement, and performance needed to support current and future operational demands.Deliver competitive manufacturing and logistics processes
Design, implement, and continuously optimize manufacturing, assembly, and logistics processes to achieve targeted improvements in productivity, cost, flexibility, and lead time.Enable Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence
Drive the implementation and evolution of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Administration (VTPS) across operations, ensuring standardized, sustainable, and measurable improvements.Ensure safe, compliant, and high quality operations
Contribute to the safeguarding of workplace safety and product quality by supporting compliance with legal requirements, internal standards, and external certifications.Manage process related investments effectively
Lead the justification, specification, supplier selection, and commissioning of manufacturing investments to support business growth, cost targets, and product launches.Support successful product and process industrialization
Collaborate with project managers and cross functional teams to ensure manufacturing readiness, design validation, and achievement of cost and launch targets.Advance technology and digitalization
Identify and implement appropriate process technologies and digital solutions (Industry >3.0) to improve robustness, transparency, and autonomy of production Systems.To succeed, you will need
Education
Degree in engineering, production technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical or industrial discipline
Additional qualification in Lean Manufacturing or operational excellence is an advantageRelevant Experience
Several years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering within an industrial environment
Proven leadership experience in team development and performance managementKnowledge & Skills
Strong expertise in process optimization, Lean methods, and continuous improvement
Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, assembly systems, and logistics processes
Experience with CAPEX projects and supplier interaction
Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office tools
Sound understanding of safety regulations and quality standardsOther Requirements
