What are my responsibilities? Global responsibility for the Engineering division in accordance with the Chief Technology Officer’s (CTO) specifications
Integrated product development with platform and product management, production and purchasing to ensure market‑compliant and production‑ready solutions
Establishment and further development of a high‑performance, cross‑functional, global engineering organization through the further development of a systematic and key performance indicator‑oriented approach
Establishment and development of global locations to regionalize development expertise and strengthen the APAC and AMERICAS regions
Promotion of a collaborative culture between locations and the disciplines of mechanics, electrics, embedded systems and software development
Overall responsibility for the technical implementation of product developments and platform solutions
Continuation of a model‑based systems engineering methodology for virtual validation in conjunction with subsequent physical, data‑supported validation to shorten development times while improving quality
Development of modular product architectures to promote configurability, high commonality of parts and efficient product maintenance throughout the product life cycle
What do I need to qualify for this job? Master degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or similar
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in automation technology and OT/IT networking and/or intralogistics
Relevant professional experience in an international development environment with cross‑functional management responsibility
Very good knowledge of German and English (at least C1 level)
Strong leadership and communication skills and high degree of creativity and solution‑oriented thinking
Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
Strategic thinking with a hands‑on mentality
