In this role you will be responsible for improving and strategising on our learning platforms, enhancing the employee learning experience and overseeing group-wide L&D initiatives such as Employee Opinion Survey and 360° Feedback process.
Key responsibilities:
1. Platform Strategy: Lead the assessment, selection, implementation and optimisation of learning platforms and technologies to support employee development initiatives; collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure seamless integration and user-friendly experiences
2. Employee Learning Experience: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall employee learning experience, from onboarding to ongoing training and development; design innovative training formats, methodologies and delivery mechanisms to engage and empower employees
3. Onboarding Programs: Partner with HR and departmental leaders to design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with organisational goals and culture
4. Training Formats and Platforms: Evaluate and recommend training formats and platforms, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, virtual classrooms and social learning platforms; continuously assess and improve the effectiveness and accessibility of training resources
5. L&D Analytics: Utilise data analytics and feedback mechanisms to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning initiatives; analyse trends, identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to optimise learning outcomes
6. Group-Wide L&D Initiatives: Oversee and coordinate group-wide L&D initiatives, such as Employee Opinion Surveys, 360° Feedback programs and other talent development initiatives; partner with stakeholders to drive participation, gather insights and implement action plans based on feedback.
7. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Platform Strategy & Employee Experience team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Set clear goals and expectations, and support team members in achieving their professional development objectives
8. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to understand learning needs, align priorities and ensure buy-in for L&D initiatives; build strong relationships and partnerships to drive a culture of learning and development throughout the organisation
Your powerful skills
9. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or related field
10. Proven experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on platform strategy, employee experience, and group-wide initiatives
11. Strong understanding of learning technologies, instructional design principles and adult learning theories
12. Experience managing learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools.
13. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget
14. Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to inform decision-making and measure the impact of learning initiatives
15. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence
16. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Advantageous, but not a must
17. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and Qualtrics desirable
18. Experience of working in a trading or similar commercial environment
19. SCRUM Master, Change Management experience, agile transformation experience desirable
