Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished system administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in server management, network administration, backup and recovery, software management, monitoring, and documentation.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently as part of a motivated team.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers in virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
o Network Administration: Manage LAN/WAN networks, including switches, routers, and firewalls; monitor network performance and security.
o Backup & Recovery: Develop disaster recovery plans.
o Software Management: Install, configure, and update company software, as well as manage licenses.
o Monitoring: Utilize monitoring solutions (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) to monitor system availability and performance, identify problems proactively.
o Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation and operating instructions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you will need:
* A completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification.
* At least 3 years of professional experience in system administration.
* Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP; network technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN); virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V); backup solutions (Veeam); security solutions (firewalls, etc.).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities.
* Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently; strong communication skills.
