You now use the weekly Jour Fix for an intensive exchange of information within the team. In addition to current business information, the new cyber security concept is discussed. You encourage the team to contribute their experience constructively. Interesting project topics and upcoming tasks are also briefly discussed. After the Jour Fix, you discuss an HMI update offer for a FACTS system. You will adapt the resource planning to current projects and check an offer submission including calculation. Together with Sales and the team, you will develop technical solutions for customers. You will mainly work in the office in Erlangen, but also on test areas or in your home office. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Technical and disciplinary leadership of an international team of engineering staff
2. Review of concepts and test procedures for HMI and IT security upgrades for HVDC and FACTS systems
3. Operational planning for engineering, commissioning and installation
4. Processing current inquiries from customers, internal departments or suppliers
5. Advising our customers in the area of updates/security refurbishments
6. Review and creation of documentation, reports, hardware plans and software architecture
7. Supporting sales with quotation activities through technical knowledge
What You Bring
8. Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification
9. Sound knowledge in the field of C&P
10. Many years of experience with FACTS & HVDC systems
11. Experience as a group leader with technical and disciplinary responsibility is an advantage
12. Intercultural interest and willingness to travel (10-20%)
13. Very good knowledge of German and English combined with customer orientation and willingness to perform
