Description
Key Accountabilities:
1. Design and implement cutting-edge automated solutions with our suppliers to optimize and develop our Marine Automation and Diagnostic Solutions.
2. Combine your expertise in software development, diagnostic protocols, and automation solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our automation systems.
3. Technically steer and collaborate with key suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
4. Utilize programming languages (C, C++, C#) to achieve results and promote reusability of scripting.
5. Develop embedded software and PLC programs for Automation devices.
6. Create Software Requirement Specifications.
7. Design and implement complex software architectures.
8. Apply functional safety standards (e.g. IEC61508) in the software development process.
9. Re-engineering of existing software/tools.
10. Integration of software modules with hardware for devices & systems.
Key Experiences and any Qualifications:
11. Diploma or Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Automation Engineering.
12. 2 years professional experience in Software Development.
13. Ability to work independently.
14. Knowledge of state of the art and current standards (e.g. ISO 9001, IEC 61508).
15. Extensive experience in software development processes.
16. Experience in software modelling (e.g. UML and OO methods).
17. Experience in C, C++ and PLC (IEC61131-3) programming languages.
18. Experience with (embedded) operating systems (e.g. QNX, OSEK, Linux and Windows).
19. Deep understanding of marine automation and diagnostic environments.
20. Strong problem-solving skills and dedicated development mindset.
21. A passion for the energy transition and marine software.
22. Excellent communication skills.
