Technical Inspector/Superintendent
Your Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and planning the maintenance and repair of the nautical and
technical systems, equipment, and safety systems within a defined section of
our fleet
* Close cooperation and communication with the vessel crews
* Budget planning and control
* Handling insurance claims
* Preparing and conducting dockings, repairs, and maintenance work
What You Bring:
* A completed technical apprenticeship/degree with relevant seagoing experience
as a Technical Watch Officer or Chief Engineer (CT/CI licence)
* Experience in the inspection department of a shipping company
* Knowledge of ship technical maintenance and ship newbuilding is desirable
* Confident use of MS Office applications
* Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
* Willingness to travel
* Independent and responsible working style
* Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to work in a team
