We are seeking a dedicated Senior Physician / Consultant Psychiatrist (m/w/d) in the field of Addiction Medicine to join a certified specialized hospital immediately. This permanent position involves a direct employment contract between you and our client. Your responsibilities:
* Autonomous senior medical leadership of assigned wards specializing in addiction treatment
* Supervision and mentorship of physicians in training
* Active participation in patient care including admissions, bed management, conducting ward rounds, developing individualized therapy plans, and leading disorder-specific group therapies
* Implementation of evidence-based pharmacotherapy aligned with current clinical guidelines
* Involvement in specialized outpatient consultations
* Contribution to continuing medical education and consultation services
* Engagement in student teaching and development of training curricula
* Participation in the conceptual advancement and external representation of the department, including collaboration with relatives and outpatient care providers

Your profile:
* Board-certified specialist in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy or Neurology
* Professional and interpersonal competence
* Clinical experience in treating patients with addiction disorders, ideally with additional qualifications in addiction medicine
* Strong commitment and sense of responsibility
* Ability to work independently, with organizational skills and teamwork orientation
