The Position

This role is key to the success of the business within the cluster. The objective is to orchestrate pharmaceutical and medical device marketing strategies to maximize financial profit, align strategies between countries, and ensure resource allocation is consistent with strategies and resources. Transparent collaboration is expected with the sales teams of each country in the cluster and with all support functions. The role includes aligning local strategies with global strategies and leading teams as a role model in business conduct.


Responsibilities

* Maximize and optimize the P&L of the cluster\'s product portfolio.
* Define the marketing and sales strategies of the product portfolio for cluster countries, in line with global product strategies.
* Allocate and prioritize promotional resources to activities with the highest economic return within the cluster.
* Co-construct access strategies to protect the value of current and future product portfolios.
* Integrate digital and data in the construction of product strategies to maximize investment efficiency.
* Manage teams to ensure the highest level of skills and commitment.
* Implement a new organization to maximize the potential of the product portfolio through innovative approaches and synergies across cluster countries.
* Federate all sales and support functions to ensure successful execution of strategies.
* Contribute to the cluster\'s strategic direction as a member of the cluster management committee.
* Contribute to portfolio development opportunities with BD management.
* Act as an ambassador for the Organon brand and culture, promoting entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit, transparency and initiative-taking.
* As P&L manager, develop and optimize the profit plan integrating customer plans for the portfolio.
* With Finance, prepare PP, 5YP, PLR, Budget and submit for approval.
* Define resources required to implement the strategic plan and arbitrate on financial and human resources allocation.
* Orchestrate development and implementation of common and country-specific marketing strategies.
* Federate multi-disciplinary teams around brand plan construction and execution.
* Consolidate marketing insights from trends and data to facilitate decision-making and co-develop market research with the sales operations team where necessary.
* Monitor execution of marketing campaigns and measure impact.
* Drive development of the promotional model and priorities to follow; promote digital promotion channels in brand plans and execution.
* Represent business and marketing needs at regional/global meetings.
* Ensure compliance of all strategies with country regulations; represent Organon to decision makers and KOLs.
* Develop professional relationships with stakeholders (scientific leaders, payers, patients, etc.).
* Regularly meet with customers to identify needs, potential new customers, and represent the company to national/regional leaders.
* Advocate Organon\'s mission at external events.
* Collaborate with Access, Communications and Public Affairs and Medical Departments on access strategies and protecting portfolio value.
* Work with market access teams to develop integrated marketing strategies addressing pricing, reimbursement and market entry in each country.
* Ensure marketing materials align with access and pricing strategies to maximize availability and effectiveness.
* Ensure team buy-in and alignment with defined strategies across sales and support functions; collaborate with country sales representatives to align each country\'s strategies.
* Forecasts align with supply plans; collaborate with Supply Chain as needed.
* Identify new product opportunities with cluster BD management and global teams; foster cross-functional collaboration for launches and market penetration.
* Challenge status quo and the promotional model to identify future opportunities; monitor and analyze marketing performance indicators and provide recommendations.
* Prepare regular reports and executive summaries for senior management, highlighting achievements and improvements.
* Recruitment and integration of employees; fair performance management; develop employees and maintain a positive team climate that fosters motivation and innovation.
* Promote collaboration, autonomy and an entrepreneurial culture; engage with local, national and international governing bodies.
* Define the company\'s strategic and operational vision; spread entrepreneurial culture and establish a launch-ready organization.


Required Education, Experience And Skills

* Scientific and/or business school education (BAC+5/6).
* Minimum eight years of experience in marketing or sales or equivalent in the pharmaceutical industry; experience in market access or healthcare environment is a plus.
* Strategic planning and forecasting skills; ability to anticipate and adapt to changes in the pharmaceutical environment.
* Rapid decision-making, priority management and customer-focused mindset.
* Fluent English; strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
* Effective communication, openness, transparency and willingness to manage risk and drive change.
* Decision-making: quick decisions and implementation; results-oriented with clear objectives and accountability.
* Ethics and integrity.
