(Administrative) IT specialist (m/f/d) or IT specialist (m/f/d) Place of work: Landshut – up to A11 / up to EGr. 11 TV-L – full-time / part-time Your area of responsibility The IuK1 – ICT Operations department is responsible for providing and supporting approximately 5,000 IT workstations in the agricultural administration, including mobile devices. Your tasks Installation and administration of Windows workstations and servers (physical and virtual) Packaging and rollout of software for the relevant area Monitoring and rollout of Windows and software updates Supporting ICT managers and users at the Offices for Food, Agriculture, and Forestry. Supporting and advising schools on digitization. Assisting with the maintenance of the network infrastructure. Reviewing IT security in this area. You have a successfully completed degree (bachelor's or university of applied sciences diploma) in administrative IT, computer science, or a comparable degree with an IT-related focus and relevant professional experience in the described area of responsibility or Completed training as an IT specialist with many years of professional experience in IT infrastructure support or Qualification for entry into the third qualification level of the science and technology career path with relevant professional experience in the described area of responsibility Good network knowledge (VLAN, firewall, routing) Good knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft operating systems (client, server) Experience with virtualization solutions Experience with standard MS Office applications Team and communication skills Confident manner, creativity, and initiative Analytical thinking and structured approach High motivation, independent working style, and ability to work autonomously Willingness to travel occasionally German language skills at least at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) What we offer Permanent employment or transfer Up to salary grade A11 Higher salary grades require clarification on a case-by-case basis.
