Estimator (m/f/d)

As an Estimator, you are a part of the project core team and responsible for the technical/commercial part of a sales project. In your function, you work in close collaboration with the Technical Sales Manager and the engineering departments as well as with our supply chain and legal teams.
* Define and collect the project costs related to engineering and equipment as well as any other project costs (including relevant risk contingencies)
* Support the preparation and optimization of the bill of quantities ensuring thorough completeness and accuracy throughout the process
* Challenge the estimated costs in defining cost savings and applying intelligent resources
* Check the reliability of the overall costs and prices by comparing them with internal database references
* Prepare commercial offers for customers and make their follow-up
* Coordination and alignment of commercial topics with the regional sales teams
* Support the Technical Sales Manager in the definition of the commercial project set-up and during commercial & contractual negotiations
* Lead the development and maintenance of a cost and price reference database
* Coordinate the issuing of the requests for quotation in cooperation with our engineering and supply chain departments.
* Master's degree in engineering or a significant equivalent experience in a similar position
* At least 5 years of experience in a comparable industry
* Fluency in English and high-level communication skills in relation to customer and project team
* Flexibility for international travel and collaboration with multinational teams
