Description
he Field Sales Engineer responsible for the sales of Oscilloscopes in his/her territory. Her/His duties are the contact to existing and new customers, evaluating their technical and commercial needs, demonstrating our products, negotiations of deals and providing the set annual sales plan numbers.
Experience:
1. Electrical or Electronics Engineer, Physicist or similar.
2. Minimum 5 years of sales experience (territory and/or account management).
3. Experience in business development.
4. Fluent in German and English language
Work:
5. Outside sales, visiting customers => 60-70%.
6. Follow up on existing opportunities, negotiations, closing deals => 20-30%
7. Reporting, attending to regular calls/meetings => 5%
8. Training on existing and new products => 5%
Skills:
Sales experience with technically demanding and high-end products.
Technical background understanding and responding to customer applications.
Knowledge and experience in the T&M market, especially in the designated territory is a plus.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capability to handle customer concerns to close deals.
Self-driven and highly motivated to develop tactics and strategies to achieve the set business plans.
Team player, working with our experienced Sales and Application Engineering team.
Basic marketing skills.
Willing to travel 60% of her/his time.
Working out of her/his home office, preferably located centrally in the territory.

11. LinkedIn and other social media application that could be useful in developing customer relationships, finding new customers, communication tactic, etc.
