What You'll Do
Join BCG’s Global Businesses and Functions (GBF) People Team, supporting 6,500+ employees and 4,000 contingent workers across a fast‑evolving global footprint. As People Projects Director in the Innovation, Change & Communication (ICC) team, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering the strategic agenda within Global Business & Functions. The ICC team acts as a catalyst for innovation and transformation across GBF—driving integrated delivery of strategic initiatives, establishing governance and portfolio alignment, and ensuring consistent, impactful communication across functions. You will lead complex, cross‑functional programs and strategic transformation projects with firm‑wide or high‑sensitivity implications. You will provide program direction, governance, and senior stakeholder engagement to ensure successful execution and lasting business impact. You will play a critical role in building ICC’s capability, strengthening its operating model, and enhancing its visibility and influence within GBF.
What You'll Bring
* Master’s degree (preferred) in Business, Management, or related field.
* Typically 10+ years of professional experience, including significant experience in program or transformation leadership within a global, matrixed organization.
* Demonstrated success managing large, strategic, or high‑complexity programs—ideally across multiple functions or geographies.
* Strong experience with change management, stakeholder engagement, and organizational transformation.
* Advanced program and project management skills; certification (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or equivalent) preferred.
* Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI, MS Project, JIRA, Monday.com).
* High learning agility, sound judgment, and ability to manage ambiguity in a dynamic environment.

* Program Leadership & Strategic Delivery – Leading large‑scale, complex, and sensitive initiatives with multiple workstreams, senior sponsorship, and cross‑functional impact. You define objectives, shape program structures, and steer delivery toward strategic outcomes.
* Stakeholder Partnership – Engaging confidently with senior stakeholders (Senior‑ and Executive Directors, Managing Directors and Partners), managing competing priorities, and building consensus in a complex, matrixed environment.
* Change Leadership & Enablement – Embedding change management principles across projects and programs, ensuring organizational readiness and sustained adoption.
* Strategic Thinking & Communication – Connecting program‑level decisions to broader business strategy. Communicating insights, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior audiences.
* Continuous Improvement & Innovation – Evolving ICC’s program and project management practices. Piloting new tools, frameworks, and ways of working that enhance ICC’s strategic value and impact across GBF.
Who You’ll Work With
You will report to the People Projects & Change Senior Director and play a key leadership role within the ICC team, partnering with six experienced project, change and communication professionals to advance GBF’s collective transformation and innovation agenda. You will shape, steer, and personally lead high‑impact people initiatives that drive business outcomes across Global Businesses and Functions—including BCG Vantage, Practice Area Management & Operations, and BCG U—as well as Global Services teams such as Finance, HR, Operations, IT and Legal. As a strategic thought partner to GBF HR Business Partners and leaders in HR Delivery, HR Transformation, Employee Experience and the Global Collective Expertise pillar, you will ensure the successful delivery of enterprise‑wide change. The role demands a forward‑looking mindset, strong business acumen, exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate complexity while fostering clarity, alignment, and measurable impact at scale.
