Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) within your assigned region.
* Pursue new business opportunities and secure orders, including adjacent industries.
* Negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholders.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally.
* Maintain accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems.
* Represent us at trade shows and cross-functional meetings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Education and Experience: A Master's degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline, combined with at least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment.
* Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions.
* Sales and Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customers.
* Communication and Interpersonal Competence: Fluent in English (additional skills in German are a plus) and skilled in building trustful relationships across functions and cultures within a matrix organization.
* Strategic and Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities; willing to travel internationally as required.
