Job Description
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our telemetry team. You will work closely with other teams within our organization and its partners to create a solution that allows us to collect, transfer, process, and analyze telemetry data of our systems in use. Occasional remote work is possible.
Main Responsibilities:
* Defining data formats and models and processing procedures
* Designing and implementing software incrementally and iteratively as a member of an agile team
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
* Solid understanding of software engineering practices, including CI/CD, version control (Git), and automated testing
* Experience with cloud platforms, especially services related to data pipelines and data storage and frameworks for batch data processing
* Proficiency in a programming language commonly used for data engineering tasks and backend development
* Understanding of security and compliance in data handling, including encryption, access control, and data anonymization
* Good knowledge of the Linux operating system
* Being a team player with the desire to work in an international team
* Very good communication skills in English
* Understanding of digital electronics, ideally also of semiconductor testing
* Experience with agile software development in large organizations
