Key Responsibilities:
4. Lead an international team of pathologists
5. Maintain and expand the organization’s network within the global pathology community
6. Act as a Medical Director for the site in Kassel, Germany
7. Optimize pathology-related processes
8. Guide and assist teams in assay development and validation, including semi-quantitative and quantitative assays
9. Support and consult project management, business development teams, and clients
10. Evaluate clinical trial specimens
11. Train external pathologists on the interpretation and scoring of novel biomarkers within post-approval services
12. Prepare publications and posters in collaboration with customers
Position Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):
13. 100% on-site role
14. Board certification (German board certification preferred)
15. Additional training in Cytology
16. Experience in hematopathology and/or genomics is a plus
17. Expertise in predictive biomarkers with a focus on oncology and immunology
18. Proficient in IHC, mIF, FISH, and RNA in situ hybridization to support assay development and serve as an experienced reader and consultant for clinical trials
19. Experience with digital imaging applications and evaluation of biomarkers using digital image analysis software
20. Excellent English communication skills
21. Strong team player
22. Willingness to work in a GCLP environment
