Responsibilities
Within product development, the Quality Assurance (QA) department ensures the quality, reliability, and user-friendliness of our software solutions.
As a working student, you will support QA engineers in the following areas:
* Analyzing requirements and test specifications to derive test cases.
* Defining, creating, and executing manual and automated software tests.
* Evaluating test results, documenting findings, and providing feedback to development teams.
* Elaborating error analyses and contributing to continuous improvement processes.
* Supporting the execution of software release processes.
* Working with Battery Emulators and Battery test systems.
* Assisting in test automation, including scripting, dashboard creation, and reporting of test results.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
* Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
* Knowledge of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
* Experience with test management and reporting tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
* Understanding of software development lifecycle and release processes.
* Interest in automotive and energy technologies.
Analytical Skills:
* Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
Communication Skills:
* Clear verbal and written communication to collaborate effectively with QA and development teams.
Experience:
* Prior coursework, internships, or hands-on experience in software testing, automation, or QA activities is advantageous.
