Your tasks
5. Management and responsibility for engineering approvals and testing for worldwide local vehicle modifications in international partner workshops
6. Development and implementation of market-oriented, compliant vehicle concepts in accordance with international standards.
7. Creation of process-compliant documentation as well as sound planning and execution of validations and tests.
8. Coordination with external partners such as suppliers, authorities and global national organizations
9. Organization and execution of sample installations as well as support during official homologation inspections
10. Coordination of internal and external engineering resources and IT service providers
11. Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Customer Service Management, Purchase, Finance, Production, Homologation, IT and Quality
Your profile
12. Completed studies in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering as a graduate engineer or Master (TU/FH)
13. Sound technical knowledge in the field of commercial vehicles (classes N1, N2, N3), vehicle bodies, as well as in the registration procedure and homologation.
14. Sound knowledge of UN, EC and ECE directives as well as the self-certification procedure (GCC)
15. Additional commercial knowledge and a BE driving licence, ideally CE, are advantageous.
16. Proficient use of MS Office, common databases and specific OEM systems such as ELANIS, Windchill, EZIS, TEVIS, MANTED, GETEX, VMS or C4S
17. Fluent English skills (C2) and native-level German; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
18. International experience, intercultural competence and the ability to deliver results independently and in a structured manner, even under pressure.
19. Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and a goal-oriented, motivating personality.
